Terms of Service

These terms describe the basic rules for using Linguify during the beta. They cover tutoring, learning records, and account responsibilities.

Account rules

You are responsible for keeping your Linguify account secure, using accurate signup information, and using the service only for lawful language-learning purposes.

AI tutor limitations

AI tutor replies support language practice and may be incomplete or incorrect. Do not rely on AI tutor output for immigration, medical, legal, financial, exam, or safety-critical decisions.

Human tutor limitations

Human tutor profiles, availability, lesson notes, and bookings are part of a developing pilot. Linguify may approve, reject, pause, or remove tutor accounts to protect learner quality and safety.

Age and safety

The current pilot is intended for learners who are 18+ unless Linguify later launches an explicit minors flow with guardian consent and additional tutor-safety controls.

Payments and refunds

Paid pilot access is unlocked by internal access records after payment service confirmation. Refund eligibility and the request process are described in the refund policy.

Complaints and incidents

Learners and tutors can report a complaint, unsafe behavior, booking dispute, or security incident through support@linguify.app. Linguify may pause accounts while reviewing safety or abuse reports.

Acceptable use

Do not use Linguify to harass others, upload unlawful content, attempt to access private service settings, interfere with the service, or misuse tutor contact paths.
